The Clarendon Works Named 2025 Commercial Development of the Year

Winners were selected by a panel of more than 630 esteemed industry professionals across 129 markets at the third annual commercial real estate awards.

26 March 2025 – Watford, United Kingdom – The Clarendon Works has been named the 2025 Commercial Development of the Year in the East of England at the CoStar Impact Awards. Winners – chosen for their growth, diversification, and the ability to overcome market challenges – were selected from a panel of over 630 industry professionals drawn from each respective market.

Developed by Regal, The Clarendon Works is a 140,000 sq ft Grade A office building on Clarendon Road in Watford. Completed in 2024, it delivers central London-quality workspace with standout sustainability credentials, including BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings, and is powered by 100% renewable energy (REGO).

The building is home to large occupiers including Allwyn and Epson UK, and offers high-spec amenities including a rooftop terrace, gym, café, and wellness spaces. Flexible workspace is provided on two floors by premium operator YoooServ.

This award recognises The Clarendon Works as a new benchmark for high-quality, sustainable office space outside central London.
